I know quite a few of you have already pre-ordered THE RULES and I’m so, so grateful! You rock! πŸ˜€

So, we’re going to try something new with this book. If you pre-order (or have already pre-ordered) THE RULES before 4/23/13, I’ll send you a signed a bookmark and bookplate (a sticker that goes in the front pages of your book, with an author’s signature. Kind of like getting your book signed long distance).

Bookplate example (unsigned):

Here’s how it works:

1) You pre-order THE RULES from the any store/site/place you like. Barnes and Noble and Amazon both offer the ability to pre-order, as does The Book Depository (for international readers). But your local bookstore can also help you pre-order.

2) Keep your receipt/confirmation email as proof of your pre-order.

3) Send an email to with the following info:

–Subject Line: Pre-Order Swag

–Your Name

–Your Address (check with your parents first, please)

–A photo or scan of your receipt or confirmation email.

–An indication as to how you’d like your bookplate signed. If your name is Rebekah, for example, but you want it to say “To Bex,” then just let me know. πŸ™‚ Otherwise, I will sign it to the name you’ve provided.

It’s that easy! πŸ™‚

Additional information:

–Yes, it’s open internationally. If you can pre-order the book, I can send you the swag. πŸ™‚

–Just like all the TV commercials, this offer is good while supplies last.

–I will work to get the swag to you as quickly as possible and I do have some help, but please be patient with me.

–1 set of swag per pre-ordered book.

Any other questions, let me know! πŸ™‚

And as always, thank you for reading!

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her
ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this
is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
